  1. Lovely. I always looked forward to the violets. A few years ago, however, some disease took the violets from our area. I was heartbroken. My granny always grew them and we learned to pick them low on the stems. I would pick little nosegays and celebrate. A friend gave me some for Christmas a couple of years ago, but they did not survive. Enjoy them for me!
