Showing Off For Autumn

October 25, 2026

In golden yellow, Sugar Maple (Acer saccharum), heralding in the end of the season. A tree that I don’t see at this elevation. But it seems to grow aplenty in the higher elevations. I love to see them no matter what the season. They remind me of Vermont.

  1. Some folks think the “real gold” is found in bank vaults. But many of us know where the real treasures are in autumn. And Sugar Maples. golden Aspen and various other leafy trees out shine those bars locked in dark vaults. Hooray for fall’s splendor!

    1. Hi Sharon, isn’t it gorgeous out there right now with the leaves painting beautiful images with their splendiferous colors! It looks like some wonderful artist is painting the woods with the autumnal colors!

So very glad you get my posts!
