In flight going after a meal. The object of this Chickadee’s (Paridae) attention, a pinecone smeared with peanut butter and then rolled in hulled sunflower seeds. The little birds are intrigued!

  1. These little guys and gals are the first birds to greet me when I set out feeders in the late autumn in Garrett County, MD, and are not shy about scolding me if I’m late refilling them.

      Such FUN birds to have around! I love to “talk” with them! As I’m filling the feeders, they sit there watching, being a bit impatient!
