A surprise “message” on the back porch. Footprints left by a squirrel, thanks to the stain of a Black Walnut (Juglans nigra).

One thought on “Black Walnut Stained Footprints”
Had the same thing happen in my garage a few years ago. I picked up a few black walnut while wandering about and left them in my garage intending to process a couple for eating. First thing I knew a squirrel had gotten into them and left little footprints all over the garage floor. Guess they don’t mind dealing with the mess, but they left it for me to clean up!
