Another Of The LBJs

Another of the LBJs, Little Brown Jobbies. This one a White Throated Sparrow (Zonotrichia albicollis), at low tide this morning. Before I had an opportunity to refill the bird baths.

It’s making itself at home in its winter home here, but its winter range also includes central and eastern US. It spends the breeding season in Canada, east of the Rockies.

  1. I love your posts. So lovely to see you are still so active and enjoying the wildlife. my life is about to change. Seems I will be moving to San Diego, where I will live in apt. that is hooked to older son’s house. Leaving my beautiful AR land and home is a really tough decision, but being way out here alone isn’t great either. Not sure you know, but Mark passed in May.
