Midwinter Blooms

Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis). Native to Europe and southwestern Asia. Blooming right now, adding unexpected charm to the otherwise dormant winter garden. I love them.

  1. Brenda,
We call them Sneew Klokjes in Dutch, which one could translate as “Little Bells in the Snow”.
Very important to see them in early spring when you live close to Mother Nature.
    Alfred.

    • Hey Alfred! Thanks for the information. I’m enjoying their blooms right now, after our incredible warmth. What in the world is the weather going to do next?!

Thanks so much for reading my posts.
