What a beautiful picture! I’ve noticed the cardinals here are becoming a bit more active. There is a male cardinal that sits in the tree near my house. He sings his song all day from morning to evening. I hope he finds a partner this year.
Hi Diane! I’ve read that young Cardinals generally do not venture far from where they grow up, as their home range. If your male Cardinal does find a mate, surely his family will stay right there in your yard! I adore the color that they add to their surroundings, no matter what time of year it is!
