  1. What a beautiful picture! I’ve noticed the cardinals here are becoming a bit more active. There is a male cardinal that sits in the tree near my house. He sings his song all day from morning to evening. I hope he finds a partner this year.

    1. Hi Diane! I’ve read that young Cardinals generally do not venture far from where they grow up, as their home range. If your male Cardinal does find a mate, surely his family will stay right there in your yard! I adore the color that they add to their surroundings, no matter what time of year it is!
