I’m used to seeing the very common Orange Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis), but up here in the mountains I also find Yellow Jewelweed (Impatiens pallida).

And on occasion I even see the white form of Yellow Jewelweed (Impatiens pallida forma speciosa).
Mother Nature is enchanting.

Those are very pretty flowers. I’ll keep my eyes open and hopefully, I can find a few up here in the northeast Georgia mountains. Always a pleasure to read your daily blogs.
Hi Diane! A hint for your search, these plants enjoy moist, somewhat shady areas. I’m surprised that they are annuals but they self-seed and seem to do it quite successfully! I hope you find some.
So very glad you read my posts.

Hi Bren, I used to have the orange variety in CT and often I would find poison ivy nearby. The jewelweed was used as a antidote.
