Oh, the memories! The bizarre weather that we are having right now makes me think of The Blizzard of ’66, January 1966. It brought us a total of 29 inches of snow in Seabrook/Lanham, Maryland. That’s me sitting on our driveway surrounded by tons of snow from the storm.
The result? No school for a week. No mail. Grocery store shelves bare. It was quite the experience. Much like this storm.

I remember that! We were living n Wheaton, MD, and I was teaching junior high music. We were all out in the apartment parking lot, digging out each other’s cars! I met my across the hall neighbor for the first time.
Oh, the sweet memories Grace! Hoping you are doing well, all dug out and staying warm and safe. I can’t believe how tough this snow has been. First time I’ve ever heard of “snowcrete”. Definitely an appropriate name.
So glad you read my posts!
